# Around the Granite State: Tuesday's Roundup

The Epping High School girls volleyball team picked up a win over Portsmouth Christian, 3-0, on Tuesday. Game scores were 25-8, 25-15 and 25-19.

Gracie Re led the Blue Devils (1-0) with seven kills and two aces while Oakley Lustenberger had 27 assists, three digs, two kills and an ace.

PCA (0-1) got three kills and two blocks from Lindsey Hatfield while Madison Kniphfer had three aces. Hannah Abraham had 15 digs, while Mollie McCormack had seven digs and Lauren Vincent had two blocks.

**Bedford 3, Bishop Guertin 0**

On Monday, the Bulldogs swept the Cardinals in Division I action by scores of 25-20, 25-14 and 25-22.

Bishop Guertin got four kills and four digs from Libby Knapp, while Emma Charron had 18 digs and Alicia Clasheen had nine assists and three aces.

### Field Hockey

**Pelham 5, Merrimack Valley 1**

Abby Bevens scored twice for the Pythons as they picked up their first win of the season over the Pride.

Pelham took a 2-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game and Merrimack Valley was unable to recover. The Pride had seven corners in the second half, but could only capitalize once.

**Winnacunnet 3, Timberlane 0**

The Warriors picked up a D1 win over the Owls on Monday. Carolyn Thompson scored two goals for Winnacunnet (2-0) and Hannah Ritchie had one.

### Boys Soccer

**Coe-Brown 2, Souhegan 0**

The Bears scored a goal in each half and Hogan Cain made six saves to earn the shutout on Tuesday.

Jake Morrisette had nine saves for Souhegan.
