# Around the Granite State: Tuesday/Wednesday Roundup

The Derryfield School boys lacrosse team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 19-4 win over ConVal on Tuesday.

Fourteen different players scored for the Cougars, led by three goals and an assist from Henry Howe and two apiece from Jon MacLean (three assists), Chas Dean and Matt Weimer (assist).

Also scored a goal for Derryfield was Ryan Etzo (assist), Gunnar Senatore (assist), Antonio Imbriano (two assists), Kyle Carpender, Max Horton (assist), Alex Neville, Cam Bishop (assist), Nathan Dudley, Andy Warren and Colby Muise.

Avry Truex made seven saves in goal while Ryan Caparelli and Yash Patel had a save apiece while Connor O'Brien won 12 of 15 faceoffs.

**Milford 21, Stevens 1**

Corey Girouard had five goals and an assist to lead the Spartans to their first win of the season on Wednesday.

Matt Hannon added three goals and two assist and Riley O'Shaughnessy also had three goals while Alex Karski, Anthony Viola and Tyler Hamlin had two goals each. Zack Spirito and Greg Gagnon also had a goal and an assist and Nate Johnson had four assists.

Alex Talor, Samson Hodges and Ryan Seale played well defensively while Kyle Forsley and Drew Hodges made two saves each.

**John Stark 14, ConVal 7**

The Generals improved to 2-1 on the year Wednesday behind a big day from Kayden Easter, who had six goals and an assist.

Cam Fortin had four goals and an assist while Peyton Marden and Aiden Moser had two goals and a helper apiece.

**Goffstown 16, John Stark 2**

The Grizzlies led 11-1 at halftime on the way to their second straight win on Tuesday.

Konnaugh Donovan led the way with four goals while Griffin Cook had three goals and three assists. Nick Mason also had three goals of his own and Andrew McCarthy scored twice and won 6 of 8 faceoffs.

Kevin Buciak also had two goals and Connor Cook and Caleb Gorton had a goal apiece while Matt Fleming and Austin Taylor each recorded an assist. Alex McCarthy and John Erwin also helped Goffstown go 17 of 21 on faceoffs. Grady Chretien had eight saves.

Stark got two goals from Kayden Easter and Ethan Konrad made four saves.

**Portsmouth 13, Coe-Brown 0**

The Bears were shut out in their first Division II game against the Clippers on Tuesday.

Zach Sheehan made 17 saves for Coe-Brown, while Dominic Cronshaw, Dylan White and Nick Allsup also played well.

### Girls Lacrosse

**Derryfield 16, Milford 2**

The Cougars got a huge game Wednesday from Olivia Strong, as she had nine goals and three assists to help Derryfield improve to 2-0.

Lucy Licata added three goals and three assists while Sydney Socha had a goal and three assists and Charlotte Rohlfs had two goals. Eva Petron added a goal and Maggie Cissel had an assist as well

Shawna Lesmerises made eight saves while Jess Carr, Lauren MacLean and Julia Tilton all played well.

**Souhegan 17, Nashua North 2**

The Sabers led 12-1 at halftime and cruised past the Titans to move to 3-0 on Wednesday.

O'Neill Galinson led the way with six goals for Souhegan while Taylor Clark had three goals and three assists and Savannah Behn also had three goals and a helper.

Avery Karavas added two goals and Hannah Rowe had a goal and two assists while Mackenzie Crestinger had a goal and an assist and Clare Woodford also scored. Alex LaBrosse made five saves for the Sabers.

North (0-5) got a goal each from Julie Gagnon (assist) and Lily Brooks. Samantha Canto and Meadow Turmel combined to make 10 saves.

**Hollis Brookline 15, Goffstown 7**

Kelsey Sweeney had five goals and an assist to lead the Cavaliers to a road win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Tasha White added four goals and a helper and Paisely Broadhurst had three for HB (2-0). Reagan Berry, Caroline Smith and Abbey Magnuszewski also had a goal apiece.

The Cavs won 13 of 24 draws while Smith, Berry, Ellie Maxwell and Nicole Heiter played well defensively and Olivia Valentine made 10 saves.

**Exeter 10, Nashua South 7**

Kirsten McIntire had two goals and an assist, including the hundredth goal of her career, but the Panthers came up short against the Blue Hawks on Tuesday.

Liz Harrington and Olivia Johnson had two goals each for South (1-2) while Sarah Signorello had a goal and Izzy Bolduc recorded an assist. Rileigh Bunton and Abbey Rowe combined to make two saves in goal.

**Merrimack 10, Nashua North 6**

A 5-5 game at halftime, the Titans came up short against the Tomahawks on Tuesday.

Kaylee Hubbard and Campbell Haller each had three goals for North while Kiley O'Brien, Lily Brooks and Kaitlyn Laurendi played well.

**Londonderry 23, Manchester Central 12**

The Little Green fell to the Lancers on Tuesday despite getting five goals and two assists from Katelyn Parker.

Emma Dudley recorded three goals and an assist while Ryleigh Cavanaugh added two goals for Central. Emily Ahern also had a goal and an assist and Lauren Infantine chipped in with a goal. Kasey Kfoury made 12 saves for the Little Green.
