The Manchester Central High School girls lacrosse team picked up its first win of the season, beating Nashua North 18-8 on Friday.
Katelyn Parker led the way for the Little Green (1-1) with five goals and two assists while Ryleigh Cavanaugh had four goals and four assists and Emma Dudley added four goals and three assists.
Meghan Harris chipped in with three goals of her own and Emily Ahern had two goals and an assist. Summer Descoteaux had a helper and Kasey Kfoury played well in goal.
Merrimack 8, Nashua South 7 (OT)
Melanie Hutchinson scored in overtime Friday to give the Tomahawks the win over the Panthers.
Hutchinson finished with four goals to lead Merrimack (1-1).
South (1-1) got three goals and two assists from Kirsten McIntire while Olivia Johnson had two goals and Liz Harrington and Sarah Signorello (assist) had a goal apiece.
Emma Pucillo, Emily Colburn and Abbey Rowe (four saves) also played well defensively for the Panthers.
Souhegan 18, Dover 3
The Sabers picked up a road win Friday over the Green Wave, getting four goals and two assists from Taylor Clark.
O'Neill Galinson and Abby Hawkes each added three goals and an assist while Savannah Behn had three goals. Clare Woodford had two goals and an assist and Margot Manz had a goal and three assists.
Hannah Rowe (assist) and Mackenzie Crestinger each added a goal for Souhegan (2-0) while Delaney Facques had an assist and Alex LeBrosse made three saves.
For Dover, Matilda Dorrah, Emily Frasier and Greta Giovanni had a goal apiece.
Hollis Brookline 14, Oyster River 8
Kelsey Sweeney had five goals and an assist to lead the Cavs to a win over the Bobcats in their first game of the year on Friday.
Paisley Broadhurst and Tasha White also had two goals apiece while Meghan Veino, Caroline Smith and Abbey Magnuszewski had a goal each.
Smith, Reagan Berry and Nicole Heiter played well defensively in front of Olivia Valentine, who had eight saves.
Derryfield 11, Pembroke 3
The Cougars opened the regular season Thursday with a road win over the Spartans, as Lucy Licata had seven goals and one assist to lead Derryfield.
Olivia Strong added three goals and two assist while Maggie Cissel had a goal and an assist. Sydney Socha, Charlotte Rohlfs and Sydney Chodosh also each had a helper.
Shawna Lesmerises made 15 saves in goal while Jess Carr, Lauren MacLean, Leah Hoey, Anna Quinn and Lexie Petron played well defensively.
Pinkerton 13, Exeter 7
The Astros improved to 2-0 with the win Thursday on the road.
Lauren Lisauskas had three goals and two assists for Pinkerton while Madison Daziel had a goal and two assists. Kiley Davis and Zoe Howe each had two goals while Caroline Daziel, Abby Jowett, Amy Quigley, Lilly Auger and Hailey Peredna also had a goal apiece.
Courtney Lamphere and Caitlin Seleny each had an assist while Dani Martineau and Lauren Sweeney combined to make eight saves.
St. Thomas 13, Campbell 6
The Saints picked up their first win of the season Thursday against the Cougars.
Brooke Chandler had four goals and an assist for St. Thomas (1-1) and Jaimie Murray also had four goals. Annie Metz had a goal and an assist in her first varsity game and goalie Olivia Kimball had 12 saves.
Hopkinton 15, Bishop Brady 1
Amelia Bassett had five goals to lead the Hawks to the win over the Giants on Thursday.
Lyndon Flanagan added four goals and two assists and Sophia Stapled had three goals and an assist. Ellie Morrall chipped in with two goals and two assist and Ellie Owen also had a goal and an assist.
Amelia Thomas and Annie Higginbothem both played well defensively while Elizabeth Berliner made five saves.
Boys Lacrosse
John Stark 13, Oyster River 4
The Generals opened the season with a win over the Bobcats on Friday, getting five goals from Kayden Easter.
Peyton Marden added three goals and an assist and Aiden Moser had two goals and an assist for John Stark. Owen Jones also had two goals and Billy Finn had one.
Goffstown 11, St. Thomas 9
Griffin Cook scored six goals to help lead the Grizzlies (1-1) to their first win Friday, as they knocked off St. Thomas (2-1).
Nick Mason added two goals and an assist while Konnaugh Donovan, Eric Dubois and Andrew McCarthy had a goal and an assist each. Grady Chretien made seven saves while Andrew and Alec McCarthy combined to go 18 of 25 on faceoffs.
Patrick Vetter led St. Thomas with four goals and two assists while Marcus Broon (assist), Alex Anderson, Nick Tossatti, Brendon Tersolo and Derek O'Brien had a goal each. Peter Schultez made seven saves.
Bishop Guertin 16, Concord 8
The Cardinals bounced back from their first loss of the season Friday with a big win over the Crimson Tide.
Sean Cameron led the way for Bishop Guertin (2-1) with three goals and four assists while Dawson Clark also had three goals. Chris Heitmiller and Chris Kiely added two goals apiece and James Heitmiller and Matt Burns combined for 10 saves.
Declan Wilkie, Bryan McCaffery, Joey Lupo, ALex Ryan, TJ Quigley and Alex Koutsos also had a goal each while Mason Carroll, Ben Abladiana and Tristan Correia each had an assist.
Boys Volleyball
Timberlane 3, Hollis Brookline 2
The Cavs dropped their first match of the season to the Owls by scores of 23-25, 19-25, 26-24, 25-21 and 15-9.
Sander Wimmer had 18 kills and Quinten Wimmer added six kills to lead HB (1-1). Michael Moscatelli added 36 assists and Jason McIlwrath finished with three blocks.
Jacob Stewart led the Owls (1-1) with 17 kills while Alexi Kakouris had 31 assists.
