The Bedford High School boys lacrosse team had a quick turnaround Saturday and came up short in a 16-4 loss to Acton-Boxborough (Mass.).

The Bulldogs suffered a 7-6 loss at Hanover late Friday night and returned for a noon start against the Warriors (7-0), who outscored Bedford 6-0 in the second quarter to break open a close game.

Ryan Toscano led Bedford (1-5, ARV in the NHHSS Coaches Poll) with three goals while Max Manniello had one. Charles Steward and Matthew Fox combined to make 14 saves.

A-B got six goals from Eric Raguin while Graham Brady added four goals and Jake Erickson had two.

Nashua South 15, Bromfield (Mass.) 10

The Panthers (3-2, No. 8 in the NHHSS Coaches Poll) picked up their third straight win on Saturday behind three goals and three assists from Drew Fleury.

Connor Rowsell added four goals and an assist while Jordan Bodwell had a goal and four assists. Nate Campbell and Joe Buturla had three goals apiece and Joe Bodi added a goal and three assists.

Dominic Pasquale and Ethan Johnson split time in goal and each made three saves.
