# Around the Granite State: Plymouth field hockey knocks off John Stark

The Plymouth Regional High School field hockey team continued its strong start to the season, getting a 3-0 win Tuesday over John Stark. 

Harper Hesser scored all three goals for the Bobcats (5-0-1) with Peyton Moore recording an assist. Hesser scored late in the first quarter to put Plymouth up, then knocked in a loose ball in a scramble in front of the goal.

The final goal came in the fourth quarter on a touch-in pass from Moore. 

**Hopkinton 9, Derryfield 0**

Ryan Barrett and Autumn Meier each had two goals and two assists to lead the Hawks to the win over the Cougars. 

Lauren Vetter and Aurelia Salce added a goal and an assist apiece for Hopkinton (4-0) while Carlie Leino, Dahlia Perry and Gigi Upton had a goal apiece. Sadie Pelletier and Mary Maughan also played well in the win. 

**Mascenic 9, Sanborn 0**

Grace Matson had three goals and an assist to help the Vikings to a win over the Indians. 

Kiahna Farrey added two goals and an assist and Iris Traffie had a goal and two assists for Mascenic (4-0-1) while Eden Traffie had two goals. Reese Alic also had a goal and Hailey Saari added an assist. 

**St. Thomas 7, Manchester 0**

The Saints got three goals and two assists from Riley Thomas in a win over the Kings. 

Leah Walsh, Sophia Kelly, Nora Massicotte and Mattie Williams also had a goal apiece for St. Thomas (5-1). 

**Hanover 9, ConVal 0**

Sophia Mancini and Joia Collins each had a pair of goals for the Bears as they knocked off the Cougars. 

Greta Mancini, Anna Farrell, Emma Richardson, Lilly House and Grace Healey added a goal apiece for Hanover (4-1-1). Ruby Lintner helped lead the defense to a shutout. 

**Merrimack Valley 4, Lebanon 2**

The Pride scored three goals in the second half to come back for a win over the Raiders. 

Hannah Dubuc led the way for Merrimack Valley (2-2-1) with a pair of goals while Marissa Kimball and Sofia Johnson had a goal apiece. 

Abby Crete and Claire Wilson each recorded an assist in the win. 

**Kearsarge 7, Laconia 0**

The Cougars overcame a slow start and pulled away in the second half to beat the Sachems. 

Stella Sheets recorded a hat trick for Kearsarge (6-0) and Liberty Provo scored her first varsity goal. 

### Girls Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Fall Mountain 0**

The Cavaliers went on the road and got a win over the Wildcats. Game scores were 25-19, 25-8 and 27-25\. 

Sasha Arroyo and Alana Adams each had 11 aces for HB (5-0) while Nichole Kosakowski recorded 12 kills and Angie Dillberg had four kills.
