# Around the Granite State: Playoff Roundup

The Oyster River-Newmarket boys lacrosse team extended its win streak to eight games Wednesday with a 10-5 victory over St. Thomas in the Division II playoffs.

The Bobcats got three goals and two assists from Hayden Marshall while Marc Parsons had three goals. Jake Failla added a goal and two assists and Sam Guilmette had a goal and an assist.

Evan Plourde and Jake Lyczak also had a goal apiece and Gave Goodwin chipped in with two assists. Finn Mason made nine saves for ORN, which will host Portsmouth in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

**Hollis Brookline 12, Keene 1**

Joe O'Reilly scored five goals and had an assist to lead the Cavaliers past the Blackbirds in the D2 playoffs.

Ben Dufoe added two goals and three assists and Hunter Hudzik also scored twice. Jacob Roy recorded a goal and an assist while Tommy Anderson and Andrew Torgersen also had a goal each.

Scott Walsh made 10 saves, allowing one goal in the fourth quarter.

HB will head to Timberlane on Saturday for a quarterfinal game.

### Girls Lacrosse

**Hollis Brookline 16, Alvirne 2**

Abbey Magnuszewski (assist) and Nicole Heiter each had three goals to lead the Cavs past the Broncos in the D2 playoffs.

Alyssa Hill added two goals and four assists for HB while Bella Haytayan had two goals and a helper. Brook Allanach also scored twice while Daniella Allanach and Cailean Roy had a goal and an assist apiece.

Ellie Maxwell and Abbie Ogren also had a goal each. Morgan Broadhurst and Sammy Atlas played well defensively in front of goalie Libby Rutledge and Hallie Bardani.

HB moves on to the quarterfinals, where it will play at Windham on Saturday.

**Derryfield 9, St. Thomas 8**

The Cougars picked up their third win of the year over the Saints in a back-and-forth contest in the D3 playoffs.

Lucy Licata led the way with three goals and two assists while Abbey Carr added three goals and a helper. Casey Benson also had two goals and two assists while Lilly Losey had a goal and Char Rohlfs had an assist.

Shawna Lesmerises led the defense with 10 saves while Lauren MacLean, Sophie Riopel, Leah Hoey, Christine Nadeau and Hailey Ramundo played well defensively.

Derryfield advances to the semifinals, where the Cougars will host Pelham on Saturday.
