# Around the Granite State: Pinkerton field hockey picks up a win

The Pinkerton Academy field hockey team got a big game from Ava Bennett in a 3-0 win Friday over Salem.

Bennett scored a goal and dished out two assists to lead the Astros (2-2) to their second win in a row.

**Windham 1, Dover 0**

Amy Lanouette scored with 9:14 remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Jaguars the win Friday over the Green Wave in a rematch of last year's Division I title game.

**Bishop Guertin 2, Concord 0**

Taylor Guibord and Rylee Bouvier each had a goal Friday to help the Cardinals improve to 3-0-1 on the year.

**Littleton 2, Laconia 1 (OT)**

Rebecca Colby scored in overtime to give the Crusaders the win over the Sachems on Friday. Alba Perez had the other score for Littleton.

**Kearsarge 3, Conant 0**

Carly Esposito had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars to a win over the Orioles on Thursday.

"We came out slow and sluggish, allowing Conant to dominate the first 15 minutes of play," Kearsarge coach Chelsea Williams said. "We woke up in the second quarter and played three good quarters of field hockey."

Kate Cochran and Marissa Montage also had a goal each for Kearsarge.

### Girls Volleyball

**Mascenic 3, Epping 0**

The Blue Devils dropped their opening match of the year, falling to the Vikings by scores of 25-21, 25-13 and 25-15.

Leah Hackett had one ace, two kills and four digs for Epping while Gracie Re had one ace, two kills and eight digs.

**Hollis Brookline 3, Merrimack 0**

The Cavaliers opened the season with a win Thursday over the Tomahawks by scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-17.

Meagan Coutu had seven kills and five aces for HB while Lydia Daskalos added six kills and one ace. Annette Schlunk had four kills and three aces and Cheyenne Colbert had four kills and an ace.

Sophie Jordan recorded 28 assists and had three aces for the Cavs.
