Around the Granite State: Monday's Roundup
Six different players scored goals as the Goffstown High School field hockey team rolled past Milford, 9-0, in Division II action on Monday.
Shannon Gifford, Jessica Vo and Makayla Strickulis each scored two goals for the Grizzlies, who improved to 3-3-1 on the season.
Emily Campbell added a goal and two assists and Emma Revaz had two assists while Alexa Minnich had a goal and an assist. Bethany Dubreuil also had scored and Strickulis and Grace Taylor had an assist each.
The Grizzlies will host John Stark on Wednesday.
Girls Volleyball
Hollis Brookline 3, Dover 1
The Cavaliers dropped their first set of the season, but managed to hand the Green Wave their first defeat of the year. Game scores were 25-18, 25-17, 22-25 and 25-20.
HB (6-0) got 17 kills from Maddie Norris while Maren Anderson had seven kills and three blocks. Kyra Belden recorded 36 assists while Ellie Jordan had 18 digs and Sammie Sheppard had 16 digs.
The Cavs return home to face Windham on Wednesday.
Epping 3, Hillsboro-Deering 0
The Blue Devils improved to 4-1 on the season with the sweep. Game scores were 25-20, 25-15 and 25-21.
Oakley Lustenberger led Epping with three aces, three kills, 13 assists and two digs while Addy Bickford had three aces, one kill and 19 digs. Belle Snyder added three aces, three kills and one dig.
Nute 3, Portsmouth Christian 0
The Eagles came up short on Monday, falling by scores of 13-25, 24-26 and 7-25.
Joey Skubisz led PCA (0-5) with four kills and a block while Bailey Ouellette had two kills and Bella Ouellette added nine assists and two aces. Alicia O'Neil had 10 digs and Maddy Kniphfer added five digs.
