Around the Granite State: Monday's Roundup

Kayden Easter and Noah Bellemore each scored three goals as the John Stark High School boys lacrosse team was able to hold off Goffstown for a 12-11 win on Monday.

The Generals (3-2) got out to an 8-3 before the Grizzlies came back to go up 10-9 heading into the fourth quarter. A 3-0 run put John Stark back on top before Goffstown closed to within one goal.

Easter added two assists for the Generals while Parker McQuarrie had two goals and Matt Bennetter and Logan Beliveau had a goal apiece. Jack Hagen and Jack Labounty played well defensively.

Goffstown (2-3) got three goals each from Ben O'Brien and Nick Mason while Griffin Cook, Connor Fitzpatrick, Eric Lacerte and Konnaugh Donovan also had a goal each. Devin Young and Charlie Keith each added an assist.

Concord 10, Nashua North 9

The Titans came up just short of their third win of the season, falling to the Crimson Tide in Division I action.

Todd Redman had five goals and an assist for North (2-4) while Troy Bottari had three goals and two assists. Nick Riddell also had a goal for the Titans.

Girls Lacrosse

Souhegan 18, Dover 1

The Sabers improved to 10-0 in Division I with a big win over the Green Wave.

Brigid Casey led the way for Souhegan with three goals and five assists while Taylor Clark added three goals and an assist and Savannah Behn had two goals and three assists.

Abby Hawks recorded two goals and two assists while Taylor Dudek (assist), Clare Woodford (assist) and O'Neill Galinson also had two goals apiece. Abby Cranney (assist) and Hannah Rowe also scored for the Sabers, while Alex LaBrosse had four saves.

Hollis Brookline 16, Windham 6

The Cavaliers got big performances from CeCe Fetter, who had six goals and five draw controls, and Kelsey Sweeney, who added two goals and five assists.

Paisley Broadhurt also had five goals for HB and Victoria Bruzik had two goals and an assist while playing well defensively. Tasha White had a goal and two assists and won 13 of 16 draws and Caroline Smith, Abbey Magnuszewski, Sydney Speir and Dana Ulrich played well defensively.
