# Around the Granite State: Milford, Nashua South play to a tie (video)

MILFORD - The Milford High School field hockey team scored in the first quarter, Nashua South tied it in the third, and that's how it ended Wednesday, with the teams tied 1-1\. 

Calleigh Krycki scored off an assist from Charlotte Dutton to give Milford the lead early. The Spartans (2-8-1) were able to hold the lead until early in the third quarter.

Molly Mullaney had the only goal for the Panthers (3-8-1), as she scored off a penalty corner just two minutes into the second half. Lilly Hurd finished with three saves for South. 

Norah Cardin had 33 saves for Milford, including 20 saves in overtime, when South was able to pin the Spartans in their end of a long stretch. 

**Exeter 4, Concord 3**

Jane Lyons scored two goals to help lead the Blue Hawks to a win over the Crimson Tide. 

Molly Ahern and Rowen Decew also had goals for Exeter (5-5).

Concord (1-8) got two goals from Elizabeth Thompson while Sydney Brown also scored. 

**No. 1 Winnacunnet 6, Windham 1**

The Warriors improved to 10-0 on the season with a home win over the Jaguars.

McKinley Fowler and Sofia Donatelli had a pair of goals each for Winnacunnet, while Megan Kelly and Fiona McAfee also had a goal apiece. 

Windham (4-5) got a goal from Ali Pallaria while Lyla Filadoro, Megan Hallisey, Sydney Rokel and Emma Adamske also played well. 

**Hollis Brookline 9, Pembroke 0**

The Cavaliers rolled to a win over the Spartans.

Anna McGurk led the way for HB (5-5-1) with three goals while Molly Wertheimer and Paige Shirley added a goal apiece. 

Lilly Hamilton and Addyson Olszewski added a goal apiece. 

**Bishop Guertin 2, Timberlane 0**

The Cardinals got back in the win column with a victory at home against the Owls. 

Sophia Harrington and Devyn Amico each had a goal for Bishop Guertin (5-5-1) while Emma Smith recorded four saves. 

**No. 7 Bedford 2, Portsmouth 0**

The Bulldogs picked up their fourth win in a row, going on the road to beat the Clippers. 

Abby Allain and Addie Putney each had a goal for Bedford (8-4) while Molly Muir added an assist. 

**No. 10 Hanover 5, John Stark 0**

The Bears stretched their shutout streak to three games in row in a win over the Generals. 

Sophia Mancini had two goals and an assist to lead Hanover (8-2-1) while Emma Richardson also scored twice. Anna Farrell added a goal and Greta Mancini recorded an assist in the win. 

**Merrimack Valley 3, Kennett 0**

Hannah Dubuc scored twice to help lead the Pride to a win over the Eagles.

Sami Piwoski also had a goal and Abby Crete picked up an assist for Merrimack Valley (4-5-1). Dubuc, Crete and Sofia Johnson played well in the midfield while Molly Pearson and Libby Foote were solid defensively. 

**No. 5 Bow 6, Lebanon 1**

The Falcons bounced back from their first loss by snapped the Raiders' four-game win streak while also celebrating senior night. 

Peyton Vaughn had two goals and an assist and Shire Kelley also scored twice for Bow (10-1). Ainsley Herriack and Gianna Trott also had a goal apiece. 

**Hopkinton 7, Sanborn 0**

Autumn Meier had three goals to lead the Hawks to the win over the Indians. 

Lauren Vetter had a goal and two assists while Aurelia Salce, Dahlia Perry and Ryan Barrett added a goal apiece for Hopkinton (8-1). Gigi Upton recorded two assists in the win. 

### Girls Volleyball

**Portsmouth Christian 3, St. Thomas 0**

The Eagles recorded a sweep of the Saints. Game scores were 25-21, 26-24 and 25-16\. 

Caroline Braman had seven kills, two aces and two blocks and Bea Monahan had seven kills, three aces and eight digs for PCA (9-1). Lauren Flynn added six kills and three aces while Molly Marquis had 5 kills and two aces. 

Lexi Jordan had 27 assists and four aces while Dylan Anderson had five kills, one ace and two blocks. Emma Anderson recorded eight digs.
