# Around the Granite State: Merrimack field hockey gets 1st win in OT

The Merrimack High School field hockey team picked up its first win of the season Friday, beating Portsmouth 2-1 in overtime.

Allie Wyand scored both goals for the Tomahawks (1-2), who go to Exeter on Wednesday night. 

**No. 4 Keene 2, No. 9 Bishop Guertin 0**

The Blackbirds returned home to get a win over the Cardinals. 

Lilly Vitters and Scarlett Miller each had a goal and an assist for Keene (3-0, No. 4 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll), with Vitters' goal coming in the first quarter and Miller's in the second.

Julianna Hamm, Mia Snowling and Paige Ells played well defensively and Dayna English finished with three saves. 

**Plymouth 2, Pembroke 0**

The Bobcats grabbed another shutout win, blanking the Spartans at home. 

Kellen Mitchell and Serena McKenney each had a goal for Plymouth (3-0) while Lila Guilbert picked up an assist. 

**No. 8 Dover 1, No. 5 Bedford 0**

The Green Wave picked up a win over the Bulldogs at home.

Ella Deroy scored the game's only goal to give Dover (3-1) the win and Scarlett Gray finished with two saves. 

### Girls Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Manchester Memorial 0**

The Cavaliers picked up their second win with a sweep of the Crusaders. Game scores were 25-21, 25-17 and 25-23\. 

Nicole Kosakowski led HB with 11 kills and four aces and Harper Sarris had 13 assists, five aces and six digs. Naia Rassmussen recorded four kills and Sasha Arroyo had seven serve receptions and six digs.
