The Londonderry High School field hockey team scored twice Tuesday in the opening moments of the third quarter and then held off Manchester Central-West to grab a 3-1 win.
LONDONDERRY - The Londonderry High School field hockey team scored twice Tuesday in the opening moments of the third quarter and then held off Manchester Central-West to grab a 3-1 win.
Meghan Daileanes had a goal and an assist to lead the Lancers (4-5), as they snapped a three-game losing skid, and Ashleigh Leone and Keira Strike also scored.
Central-West (3-4) got a goal from Alyssa Bonia, as her score in the fourth quarter made it 2-1. But Daileanes scored just 10 seconds later to put Londonderry back on top by two.
Chloe Gilroy made 10 saves for Central-West.
No. 6 Souhegan 6, Lebanon 0
Ella Barrett had two goals and two assists to lead the Sabers (7-0) to a win over the Raiders (2-3-1).
McKenzie Berry added a goal and two assists while Brooke Fallon, Ari Goulet and Allison Jordan chipped in with a goal apiece. Annie Raduazzo and Margo Hinspeter played well in goal for Souhegan.
No. 5 Winnacunnet 2, No. 8 Dover 1
The Warriors (7-1) won their fourth game in a row, getting a road win over the Green Wave (6-3).
Jordan Hurrell and Hayden Adams each had a goal for Winnacunnet with Abby Wilber picking up two assists. Amber Morgado made seven saves.
Julia Rowley scored for Dover, with Molly Goodridge recording an assist and Rylen Gray also played well.
No. 4 Portsmouth 6, Sanborn 1
Mia Edwards had three goals and an assist to lead the Clippers (8-0) to a win over the Indians (2-3-1).
Charlotte Marston had two goals and Sam Ruel also scored for Portsmouth. Sydney Moreau recorded two assists and Kate Deans had one while Samara Buck made four saves.

Playing their first game in 11 dats, the Falcons (1-3-1) picked up their first win of the season by shutting out the Pythons (1-5).
Ella Gray and Maia Kimball each had a goal and an assist while Sophia Coombs and Trista Day also scored. Josie Johnson added an assist.

Camdyn Despres scored the game-winning goal for the Spartans (3-3-1) off an assist from Natalie Longacre in the third quarter.
Meredith Kiander added her first varsity goal to make it 2-0 for Pembroke.

Tori Montagna had three goals and three assists to lead the Cougars (2-4) to the win.
