# Around the Granite State: Hopkinton field hockey rallies in 3rd quarter to beat Mascenic (video)

NEW IPSWICH - The Hopkinton High School field hockey team scored twice in the third quarter to come back to beat Mascenic 2-1 on Thursday. 

Autumn Meier scored two goals just 1:30 apart early in the third quarter for the Hawks (5-0) and Evelynn Read finished with 11 saves in a rematch of last year's Division III semifinal, won by the Vikings (4-1-1).

Kiahna Farrey scored on a penalty corner late in the first quarter to give Mascenic the lead while Evelynn Shippee recorded 16 saves. 

**Kearsarge 3, Conant 0**

The Cougars battled through the elements to get a win over the Orioles. 

Bella Valle, Ryley Grace and Adella Monnatt each had a goal for Kearsarge (7-0), with Monnatt played a great game in the midfield. 

**No. 3 Keene 6, Nashua South 0**

Scarlett Miller scored twice to help the Blackbirds get the win over the Panthers. 

Camille Hansen, Julianna Rice, Liz Hutchins and Mackenna Macie added a goal apiece for Keene (6-2, No. 3 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll). Lilly Vitters, Zoe Allaire, Aoife Moran and Lola Black each had an assist and Dayna English recorded a save. 

Lilly Hurd had five saves and Miranda Breen recorded two saves for South (2-4). Sofia Forti, Emme Christian and Maddie Langer played well for the Panthers. 

**Kennett 2, Milford 0**

The Spartans battled on the road with the Eagles but came up short. 

Lily Webster and Charlotte Dutton played well for Milford (2-5) and Nadia Dutton and Raiyne Bailey were solid on defense. Norah Cardin finished with 20 saves.
