# Around the Granite State: Hollis Brookline girls volleyball sweeps Salem

The Hollis Brookline High School girls volleyball team picked up its second win of the year Tuesday, beating Salem 3-0\. Game scores were 25-13, 25-10 and 26-24.

Meaghan Coutu had 13 kills and five aces for the Cavaliers while Lydia Daskalos had seven aces, two kills and a block. Cheyenne Colbert recorded seven kills, two blocks and an ace and Sophia Jordan had 25 assists and two aces.

HB returns to action on Friday when it hosts Nashua South.

**Portsmouth Christian 3, Nute 2**

The Eagles opened the season with a win, coming back against the Rams to win the final two games. Scores were 21-25, 25-21, 17-25, 25-18 and 15-8.

Joey Skubisz had 17 kills, five aces, nine digs and one block to lead PCA while Maddy Kniphfer had 31 assists and eight aces. Emily Esters had five aces and seven digs while Liahna Messier had six kills and 10 digs.

### Field Hockey

**Keene 2, Nashua South 1**

Sofia Miller scored twice to help lead the Blackbirds (3-1) past the Panthers.

Miller broke a tie with six minutes remaining to give Keene the win while Eliza Ballaro, Kaylyn Trubiano and Claire Stroshine each had an assist.

South (0-1-2) took the lead four minutes into the game, as Karina O'Donnell put home a cross ball from Kaitlyn West. Kaitlyn Tello made 14 saves for the Panthers.

**Souhegan 5, Pelham 0**

The Sabers got two goals from Ella Barrett in a win over the Pythons.

Annika Madeja, Tatum Zampella and Karina Kruchynska each added a goal while Annie Raduazzo made three saves.

**Dover 3, Nashua North 0**

The Green Wave picked up the win behind a goal apiece from Trixie Williams, Erin Lynch and Meghan Fitzgerald.
