MANCHESTER - The Gilford High School field hockey team scored four goals in the first quarter and never looked back Tuesday in a 6-1 win over the Derryfield School.

Grace Southworth scored three goals and two assists for the Golden Eagles (2-0) while Avah Mason had two goals. Riley Coutts also had a goal and an assist for Gilford and Abi Lyman had two assists.

Rosie Blake had the lone goal for the Cougars (0-1), with Titi Latinwo recording an assist. Noelanni Hunter finished with 11 saves.

Mascenic 4, Mascoma Valley 1

The Vikings scored four goals in the fourth quarter to rally for a road win over the Royals.

Kiahna Farrey had two goals and an assist for Mascenic (2-0) while Reese Alix had a goal and two assists. Grace Matson also scored and Hailey Saari added an assist while Evelynn Shippee made two saves.

Tori Petty scored for Mascoma Valley (0-2) and Addie Irwin finished with 27 saves. The Vikings had 15 penalty corners while the Royals had three.

Oyster River 2, Milford 0

The Bobcats picked up their first win of the season with a shutout on the road of the Spartans.

Hadley Shattuck scored her first varsity goal and Grace Harvey also scored, with both goals coming off penalty corners.

St. Thomas 2, Hollis Brookline 1 (OT)

The Cavaliers battled on the road, but the Saints came out on top in overtime.

Lilly Hamilton had the lone goal for HB (0-2) while maddie Barich recorded six saves.

Plymouth 6, ConVal 0

Harper Hesser had two goals and an assist to help the Bobcats get the win over the Cougars.

Serena McKenney added two goals and an assist and Kellen Mitchell also had two goals for Plymouth (2-0). Aaliyah Muzzey chipped in with an assist as well while Amy Watto and Ella Duchette played well.

Sanborn 4, Winnisquam 0

The Indians picked up their first win of the season, getting a home win over the Bears.

Alexa Rosa had two goals for Sanborn while Kayleigh Preston and Ally Rogers had a goal apiece. Reese Rogers earned the shutout in goal.
