Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup (video)

The Goffstown High School boys lacrosse team started strong and held off St. Thomas for a 10-5 win in Division II action on Friday.

Devin Young had three goals and one assist and Griffin Cook added two goals and two assists to lead the Grizzlies (4-3). Nick Mason also had two goals and an assist while Max Lajeunesse (assist), John Irwin and Matt Fleming also scored.

Caleb Gorton added an assist for Goffstown while Evan Daigle and Grady Chretien combined for 10 saves.

Tim Bouchard had two goals and an assist to lead St. Thomas (4-4) while Patrick Vetter and Matt Bannes had a goal and an assist each.

Kingswood 10, John Stark 9

The Knights scored three straight goals in three minutes in the fourth to take the lead and Kayden Easter's shot with 12 seconds left hit the post for the Generals.

Easter finished with three goals and Noah Bellemore had two to lead John Stark. Peyton Marden, Parker McQuarrie, Matt Bennetter and Tim Fatcheric also had a goal apiece.

Trinity 8, Coe-Brown 3

Ryan Etzo and Will Brown had two goals each to lead the Pioneers past the Bears in Division III action.

Ethan Messner also scored twice while Dillon Brown and James Kosiarski had a goal apiece for Trinity.

Evan Conway, Mitch Wade, Dom Cronshaw and Nick Allsup played well for Coe-Brown.
