Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup
Six different players ran for a touchdown as the Bedford High School football team rolled past Manchester Memorial 56-0 on Friday.
Ryan Toscano led the way with 57 yards and two scores and Harrison LeGoullon, Michael Akstin, Menderson Elie and Aaron Skaling also had rushing touchdowns as the Bulldogs (4-0) ran for 198 yards on 23 carries as a team.
Thomas Morgan was 6 of 13 for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and Lucien Mumpini caught six passes for 109 yards and two scores. Skaling also completed 5 of 6 passes for 36 yards.
Mumpini and Soloman Sanchez each had an interception for Bedford on defense.
Field Hockey
Bishop Guertin 7, Nashua North 0
The Cardinals got a goal and three assists from Brooke Yabroudy in Friday's win over the Titans.
Emily Lisi also had two goals for Bishop Guertin (4-4) while Kennedy Wright, Mckaela Meaney, Chloe Leonard and Amelia Piercy also scored. Elise Harnish had two assists and Sarah Coyle and Britney Pearson each had one.
Monina Tosi made five saves for Bishop Guertin.
Girls Volleyball
Hollis Brookline 3, Concord 0
The Cavaliers picked up their eight win of the season by sweeping the Crimson Tide. Game scores were 25-11, 25-10 and 33-31.
Kaleigh Whalen had 10 aces and five kills for HB (8-0) while Sammie Sheppard had 12 digs. Ashley Burtt had a kill and a block and Brodie Kelley had one kill.
Bishop Guertin 3, Manchester Central 0
The Cardinals won their fifth in a row, beating the Little Green by scores of 25-9, 25-6 and 25-20.
Julia Pascucci had 13 assists and seven aces for Bishop Guertin (6-1) and Alicia Glasheen had 10 assists. Lydia Litvak added six kills and five aces and Kristen Coumas had five kills.
Epping 3, Franklin 0
The Blue Devils completed a sweep of the Golden Tornadoes by scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-21.
Oakley Lustenberger had eight aces, one kill, four digs and 27 assists for Epping (5-2 in Division III) and Lexi Kailey had nine kills and two digs. Gabi Hughes added 22 digs, three aces and six kills.
