Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup

The Bishop Guertin High School girls lacrosse team got goals from seven players in an 18-5 win over Windham on Friday.

Nat Coutu led the way for the Cardinals with five goals and an assist while Maddy Keating and Tess Prunier each had three goals and an assist.

Katie Campel recorded two goals and an assist and Rylee Bouvier had three goals. Emma Hayhurst and Lauren Redfern also scored while Lindsay Hult, Tegan McGinnis and Kate Simpson each had an assist.

Makenna Reekie made seven saves and Cameron Iaquinta had three saves.

Pinkerton 14, Exeter 8

The Astros (12-3) got their second win of the week over the Blue Hawks on Thursday.

Ali Lamphere had six goals for Pinkerton and Abby Jowett had five goals and an assist. Caroline Daziel scored three goals and had three assists, recording her 100th career point.

Justine Doyle, Liz Fournier and Caitlin Seleny had an assist apiece. Lauren Sweeney made 13 saves.

Hollis Brookline 18, Milford 5

Abbie Ogren had three goals and three assists to lead the Cavaliers to a win over the Spartans.

Alyssa Hill added four goals and a helper while Abbey Maguszewski had two goals and two assists. Brooke Allanach, Nicole Heiter and Morgan Broadhurst scored two goals apiece for HB.

Bella Haytayan, Cailean Roy and Hallie Bardani also scored while Sammy Atlas and Mack Jusczak had an assist each. Ellie Maxwell and Kaitlyn Castriotta had a strong game on the draw circle while Lubby Rutledge was solid in goal.

Boys Lacrosse

Nashua South 12, Merrimack 9

The Panthers (5-5, No. 8 in the NHHSS Coaches Poll) picked up their second win of the week over the Tomahawks on Friday.

Jaden Murphy had four goals and an assist for South, while Drew Fleury (assist) and Nate Campbell each had three goals. Griffin Johnson had three assists and Rhett Medling also scored.

Mike Rutstein added an assist while Aidan Walsh was 17 of 20 on faceoffs and Ethan Johnson made nine saves.

Merrimack (4-10) got four goals from Kyle Dunn and Matt Todd had two goals and three assists. Jason Hostler (assist), Connor Lanigan and Jackson Fawks had a goal apiece and Alex Griffin made six saves.

Bishop Guertin 21, Nashua North 0

The Cardinals (14-0, No. 1) shut out the Titans for the second time this week on Thursday.

Nick McGovern had a goal and three assists for Bishop Guertin while Jon Krikorian and Chris Heitmiller each had two goals and an assist. Declan Wilkie, Calvin Jozokos and Ryan Jolicoeur had two goals apiece and Tim Kiely and Connor Bouvier had a goal and two assists each.

Brady Dumont, Michael Kiely and Jacob Caron had a goal and an assist each. JJ Murphy, Aiden Laurendeau, Dawson Clark, Alex Dumont and Caleb Yeung also scored while Emerson Warren had two assists and Connor Hughes had one.

Boys Volleyball

Hollis Brookline 3, Souhegan 0

The Cavaliers (8-2) swept the Sabers for the second time this week. Game scores were 25-14, 25-13 and 25-16.

Aidan Norris had six kills and four aces while Jack Delaney added five kills and two aces. Max Marshall had 19 assists and Braedan O'Connor had four aces and a block.
