# Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup

The Hollis Brookline High School girls lacrosse team snapped a three-game skid Friday with a 14-3 win over Alvirne.

Abbie Ogren had four goals to lead the Cavaliers (5-3) while Nicole Heiter (assist) and Kaitlyn Castriota had two goals apiece. Abbey Magnuszewski and Alyssa Hill added a goal and two assists each.

Julia Vella scored her first varsity goal while Hallie Bardani, Cailean Roy and Daniella Allanach also had a goal apiece. Morgan Broadhurst, Ellie Maxwell and Sammy Atlas each had an assist.

Libby Rutledge played well in goal and Mack Jusczak was solid on defense.

**Souhegan 16, Hollis Brookline 4**

The Cavs fell to the Sabers on Thursday for the second time this week. Hill had two goals and an assist for HB while Magnuszewski and Bardani each had a goal and Ogren added an assist.

**Pinkerton 16, Nashua South 12**

The Astros (10-2) needed a second half comeback to beat the Panthers on Wednesday, for their second win over South this week.

The Panthers led 6-5 at halftime, but Pinkerton came back behind a five-goal, one-assist day from Ali Lamphere. Abby Jowett (two assists) and Caroline Daziel (one) each had four goals. Jowett also recorded her 100th career point.

Amy Quigley had two goals and two assists and Caitlyn Seleny had a goal and an assist. Lauren Sweeney made six saves.

South got within two goals late in the game, but couldn't get any closer. Olivia Johnson led the Panthers with six goals and an assist while Ella Benzekri had four goals and five draw controls.

Soleil Dubois and Kaitlyn West had a goal apiece and Audrey Mullaney made three saves.

**Campbell 17, Alvirne 3**

The Broncos dropped a tough one to Campbell on Thursday, getting one goal each from Charlotte Moloney, Hailey Ramalhinho and Maddy Nicolosi. Zaira O'Leary made 14 saves.

**Londonderry 19, Nashua North 4**

Jenna Stowell led the way with four goals and an assist as the Lancers picked up their second win of the week over the Titans on Thursday.

Izzy August, Emily Cowette (assist) and Caroline Leone (assist) added three goals each while Grace Holland (assist) and Lilah Melia had two goals each. Tara Wright and Kiara Edmunds also scored.

North got three goals and an assist from Lily Brooks while Kiley O'Brien had two goals and a helper.

### Boys Lacrosse

**Bishop Guertin 16, Bedford 4**

The Cardinals rolled to their second win of the week over the Bulldogs on Thursday, taking an 11-2 lead into halftime on the way to the victory.

Jon Krikorian had five goals and an assist to lead Bishop Guertin (11-0, No. 1 in the NHHSS Coaches Poll). Brady Dumont and Michael Kiely each added two goals and an assist while Nick McGovern had three assists and Tim Kiely had two helpers.

Connor Bouvier had a goal and an assist while Connor Guibord and JJ Murphy scored and Nate Kane and Zach Kouchalakos each scored their first varsity goal.

Dylan Steward made five saves, Matthew Peicker had four and Michael MacDonough added two.

### Boys Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, John Stark 0**

The Cavs improved to 6-2 on the year with the sweep of the Generals. Game scores were 25-16, 25-9 and 25-12.

Brian Szewczyk had five aces, three blocks and two kills while Jake Laborde had five aces and six kills. John Sommer added three aces and three kills.

Max Marshall had two aces and 15 assists and Spencer Murray and Liam Troddyn played well defensively.
