Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup

Hollie Phillips scored with 17 seconds left in overtime to give the Plymouth Regional High School field hockey team a 1-0 win over Goffstown Friday in Division II action.

Phillips scored off a corner, with Hannah Olmstead picking up the assist for the Bobcats (3-1). Molly Edmark got the shutout in goal, her second of the season, while Olmstead, Ellen Ryan, Emily Manson and Sam Ashe played well defensively.

Londonderry 2, Timberlane 1 (OT)

The Lancers (4-0 in D1) picked up their third overtime win of the season, getting a goal from Courtney Shay with 7:09 left in the extra frame.

Izzy Augusta got an assist on the game-winner, while Shay had an assist on Chelsea Mullen's goal in the first half that put Londonderry up 1-0. Timberlane's Lily Fay forced overtime by scoring on a penalty stroke with no time left on the clock.

Riley Walter finished seven saves for the Lancers, while the Owls got five saves from Meghan Query.

Concord 3, Salem 2 (OT)

Alice Rosenberg had a goal and two assists, including the game-winning score in overtime, as the Crimson Tide (4-0) remained unbeaten in D1.

Jordan Cromwell also had two goals for Concord, her first on varsity.

Girls Volleyball

Hollis Brookline 3, Bishop Guertin 0

The Cavaliers improved to 3-0 on the year with a sweep of the Cardinals. Game scores were 25-17, 26-24 and 25-21.

HB got 11 kills from Kaleigh Whalen and six kills and two aces from Maren Anderson. Sammie Sheppard had 19 digs and Jessica Cooper had eight digs for the Cavs, who rallied from a 21-16 deficit to win the second game.

Kristen Coumas had 24 assists and four aces for the Cardinals (0-3) and Caroline Sullivan had eight kills. Libby Knapp added 10 kills and seven digs and Lydia Litvak had five blocks.
