# Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup

The Portsmouth High School girls lacrosse team got out to a 10-0 lead in the first half and never looked back in a 16-4 win over Windham on Friday.

The Clippers (10-1 in Division II) have won six in a row by an average of 10.5 goals and have scored fewer than 11 just twice this season. Windham (5-5) fell for the second time in three games.

**Derryfield 8, Kearsarge 5**

Down 4-1 at halftime, the Cougars surged back in the second half to improve to 7-1 in Division III this season.

Olivia Strong had four goals and three assists for Derryfield while Lucy Licata also had four goals and added two assists. Sydney Socha recorded an assist and Julia Tilton also played well on offense.

Shawna Lesmerises had 15 saves to lead the defense while Jess Carr, Lauren MacLean, Leah Hoey, Karla Meschkat, Charlotte Rohlfs and Maggie Cissel played well together defensively.

**Pinkerton 20, Manchester Central 6**

The Astros improved to 11-1 by getting out to a big lead in the first half against the Little Green.

Kiley Davis led Pinkerton with four goals and an assist while Lauren Lisauskas (two assist), Madison Daziel (assist) and Allison Lamphere had three goals apiece.

Zoe Howe also scored twice for the Astros while Lilly Auger, Hailey Peredna and Caitlyn Seleny had a goal and two assists each. Abby Jowett and Amy Quigley also had a goal apiece while Dani Martineau made four saves and Lauren Sweeney had three.

Central (4-4) got two goals and an assist from Ryleigh Cavanaugh while Emma Dudley had a goal and three assists. Katelyn Parker and Emily Ahern added a goal and an assist and Sophia Leonard also scored.

Meghan Harris, Cam Casey, Danielle Azevedo and Summer Azevedo also played well for the Little Green.

**Souhegan 18, Nashua North 4**

Clare Woodford had four goals and an assist to help lead the Sabers (9-2) to their ninth win of the season.

Taylor Clark added three goals and four assists and Elle Stvenson (assist) and Abby Hawks also had three goals apiece. Savannah Behn and Delaney Facques each had two goals and an assist and O'Neill Galinson added a goal and an assist.

North (4-9) got two goals and an assist from Campbell Haller while Hannah Fortin and Chloe Young had a goal apiece.

Alex LaBrosse made five saves for Souhegan while Samantha Carito had six saves for North.

**Bedford 18, Nashua South 6**

The Panthers dropped their second straight game, falling to 8-5 on the season.

Kirsten McIntire had four goals and an assist for South while Sarah Signorello had a goal and an assist and Olivia Johnson also scored. Emma Pucillo and Bailey Morin played well on the circle and on defense, while Rileigh Bunton made seven saves.

### Boys Lacrosse

**Bishop Guertin 16, Timberlane 5**

Sean Cameron and Ben Abladian each had four goals and two assists to lead the Cardinals (10-2, No. 1 in the NHHSS Coaches Poll) past the Owls (5-4, ARV).

Chris Kiely added two goals and Chris Heitmiller had a goal and three assists for Bishop Guertin while Alex Koutsos scored twice and Dawson Clark had two helpers.

TJ Quigley chipped in with a goal and an assist while Declan Wilkie and Michael Kiely also had a goal apiece. James Heitmiller, Matt Burns and Matt Peicker combined for seven saves.

**Bedford 15, Nashua South 9**

The Panthers (No. 7) lost for the third time in five games to drop to 7-5 on the season.

Drew Fleury, Joe Bodi and Jaden Murphy each had two goals and an assist for South while Nate Campbell also had two goals. Jordan Bodwell added a goal and an assist and Joe Buturla had an assist.

Dominic Pasquale made nine saves and Ethan Johnson had five while Aidan Walsh went 6 for 7 on faceoffs.

**Coe-Brown 7, Manchester Memorial-West 1**

The Bears improved to 4-5 in Division II with the win, getting two goals and an assist from Aaron Bono.

Wells Lambert had a goal and an assist and Jack Cinquegrano added two assists while Ryan Nester, Ryan Whitcher and Dakota West all had a goal apiece.

Will Sawyer and Cal Welch each had an assist and Zach Sheehan made 10 saves.

### Boys Volleyball

**Windham 3, Hollis Brookline 0**

The Cavaliers (6-4) fell to the Jaguars (12-0) for the second time this season. Game scores were 25-19, 25-18 and 25-19.

Matt Wojick had seven kills and three blocks for HB while Quintin Wimmer had four kills and three blocks. Sander Wimmer added four kills and Joshua Ide had 19 assists. Felix Yang recorded nine digs.
