Around the Granite State: Friday's Roundup

The Souhegan High School girls lacrosse team bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 10-9 win over Exeter on Friday.

O'Neill Galinson, Abby Hawks and Hannah Rowe each had two goals and an assist for the Sabers (5-1) and Clare Woodford added two goals. Margot Manz had a goal and two assists and Taylor Clark also scored while Alex LaBrosse had six saves.

The Blue Hawks (5-3) got three goals from Sydney Taylor while Lilly Strohecker added two goals. Maddie Davis, Allison Kelly, Raye Neil and Carley Pierce had a goal each and Alexis LaPie had an assist. AJ Patten made three saves.

Nashua North 16, Salem 4

The Titans picked up their third win in a row Friday behind big offensive games from Kaylee Hubbard and Campbell Haller.

Hubbard finished with seven goals and three assists while Haller had eight goals and two assists. Hannah Fortin added a goal and Theresa Ellison recorded an assist for North (3-5).

Nashua South 21, Timberlane 5

Seven different players had a goal for the Panthers on Friday in their win over the Owls.

Kirsten McIntire led the way with nine goals and an assist for South (6-2) while Liz Harrington had four goals and Sarah Signorello added three goals and two assists. Olivia Johnson had a goal and three assists while Kylie Davis, Michelle Ramirez and Taylor Anger also had a goal apiece.

Kaitlyn West finished with four assists and Emily Colburn had a helper while Rileigh Bunton made three saves. Izzy Bolduc and Emma Pucillo also played well for South.

Pinkerton 13, Portsmouth 7

The Astros got out to an 8-2 lead in the first half on Thursday and held off the Clippers for the win.

Kiley Davis had five goals to lead Pinkerton (5-1) while Lilly Auger added two goals and three assists and Lauren Lisausaks had a goal and two helpers.

Zoe Howe and Hailey Peredna had a goal and an assist each while Caroline Daziel, Madison Daziel and Caitlyn Seleny also scored a goal each. Dani Martineau made nine saves while Lauren Sweeney had one.

Boys Lacrosse

Bishop Guertin 17, Dover 3

Dawson Clark had five goals and two assists as the Cardinals picked up their sixth win in a row on Friday.

Sean Cameron added two goals and six assists while Chris Kiely and TJ Quigley had two goals apiece. Alex Ryan and Alex Koutsos also had a goal and two assists each and Ben Abladian added two assists.

Aidan Ahearn, Michael Kiely and Chris Heitmiller also scored a goal each and James Heitmiller (seven) and Matt Burns (two) combined for nine saves.

Goffstown 12, Manchester Central 4

The Grizzlies handed the Little Green their first loss of the season on Thursday behind a four-goal day from Konnaugh Donovan.

Austin Taylor added three goals and an assist for Goffstown (3-4) while Nick Mason also had three goals and Griffin Cook and Gabe Sibulkin had a goal each. Eric Dubois and Andrew McCarthy each added an assist.

Andrew Chretien and Evan Daigle combined to make eight saves while Andrew McCarthy, Alex McCarthy and John Erwin teamed up to win 16 of 20 faceoffs.

Alex Hawkom led Central (4-1) with three goals.
