Murray also had two assists for the Cougars (1-0, No. 4 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) while Tate Flint had a goal and five assists and Chili Cabot (one assist) and Michael Grunbeck had three goals apiece.
Quinn Silvio finished two goals and an assist and RJ Proulx also scored twice while Liam Canty had a goal and an assist. Ethan Flanagan and Jamie Collins also scored and Brady Doldo, John Kramer and Max Fowler each added an assist.
Ty Callander and Cole Levesque each scored for the Bobcats (1-1).
No. 1 Bishop Guertin 9, Hingham (Mass.) 8 (3OT)
Tim Kiely scored the game-winner in the third overtime to give the Cardinals the win in their opener.
Aiden Laurendeau had two goals and two assists, including the tying goal in the final minute that sent it to overtime. Connor Bouvier also had two goals and two assists and Jacob Caron scored twice.
Brady Dumont and Connor Guibord added a goal apiece while Zach Connerty (four saves) and Will Murphy (eight) combined for the win in goal.
No. 3 Pinkerton 19, Manchester Memorial-Central 0
Matt Feole had five goals and an assist as the Astros opened the season with a win over the Kings.
Joey Gallo and Ryan Lynch each added two goals and two assists and Michael Uber and Cole Summers (one assist) each had three goals. Cody Santomassimo recorded two goals and Ben Quintiliani and Ryan Wong had a goal and an assist each.
Adam Scala and Kyle Ushkevich each had a pair of assists and Cole Frank and Alex Tsetseranos combined to go 20 of 22 on faceoffs.
Mene Adumene had 10 saves for Manchester.
Alvirne 11, Nashua South 4
Josh Grimard and Garrett Hall each had three goals as the Broncos improved to 2-0 on the season.
Connor Hall added two goals and four assists for Alvirne while Joey Ribeck, Cedrik Beaulieu and Jonovan Santana had a goal apiece. Ayden Kelly made 10 saves in goal and Ribeck was dominant on faceoffs.

No. 6 Hollis Brookline 13, Oyster River-Newmarket 6
Alyssa Hill had five goals and four assists to lead the Cavaliers past the Bobcats.
Hill also had four caused turnovers and three draw controls while Paige Mello had three goals and two assists. Sabrina Hill added two goals and an assist and Samantha Smith scored twice.
Bella Haytayan had a goal and four draw controls and Cailean Roy had five draw controls. Abby Dougherty made 11 saves while Mello, Paige Magnuszewski, Daniella Allanch and Julia Vella played well defensively.
No. 8 Nashua South 20, Alvirne 0
Karina O'Donnell, Wylie Hart and Meenu Dwaraka each had three goals to lead the Panthers to a win over the Broncos.
Brynn Teft added two goals while Morgan Udzanovich, Anna Pasquale and Ella Benzekri had a goal and an assist each. Maddy Matylewski, Saige Devins, Nevaeh Eppolitto, Maddie Berthiaume, Abbey Benotti and Amanda Bell each scored for South.
Maren Lowell had two assists and Maizie Barker and Audrey Mullaney each had one while Keira Walsh made one save.
