# Around the Granite State: Derryfield boys basketball grabs win over Conant

MANCHESTER - Nate Boudreau had 12 of his game-high 18 points in the second half as the Derryfield School boys basketball team knocked off Conant 37-23 on Friday.

Boudreau was 7 of 9 at the free throw line as the Cougars (7-5 in Division III) won for the fifth time in their last six games. Jake Larson added 11 points while Awaab Mousa and Sammy Fazelat also scored.

The Orioles (3-8) got 9 points from Carter Letourneau while Xavier Harris had seven points and Jaiden Nagle had five.

**Belmont 54, St. Thomas 50**

The Red Raiders came back to beat the Saints in this matchup of undefeated teams in D3.

Evan Martinez led Belmont (11-0) with 24 points and Brody Ennis added 12 markers. St. Thomas (9-1) got 18 points from Grant Baker.

**Windham 43, Keene 40**

The Jaguars ground out a win at home over the Blackbirds, their third in a row.

Brandon Jacobs had 16 points to lead Windham while Tyler Jordan had 10 points and Sam Roidoulis had nine points and played well defensively. Matt Hennessey also played well off the bench.

**Goffstown 62, Manchester Memorial 49**

Tyler Dionne scored 25 points to help lead the Grizzlies to their fifth win in a row.

### Girls Basketball

**Pinkerton 38, Salem 28**

The Astros took the lead early and never looked back in a win over the Blue Devils.

Brooke Benz led Pinkerton (6-5) with 14 points while Julia Caruso had six points and Taya Brown added five. The Astros led by nine points at the end of one and were up 24-11 at halftime.

**Oyster River 46, Milford 37**

The Bobcats got the win over the Spartans at home in a rematch of last year's D2 championship game.

Wren Horne led Oyster River (6-3) with 15 points while Ashling Ferris had nine points and Jazzy Alvarez added seven. Eva Bebbington, Avery Biggwither and Payton Drapeau each had five points in the win.

**Bedford 80, Merrimack 17**

Five players were in double figures as the Bulldogs cruised past the Tomahawks.

Juliet Laws led the way for Bedford (8-1) with 13 points and Sarah Muir added 12 markers. Grace Wolf and Mel McCarthy each chipped in with 11 points and Adra Casey had 10 points, including two 3-pointers.

Merrimack (1-8) got eight points from Avary Cruz while Megan McCarthy added five points.

**Bishop Guertin 76, Exeter 57**

Nicole Melick had 22 points and five rebounds, but it wasn't enough for the Blue Hawks against the Cardinals.

Lexy Rogers added 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Jessica Melick had a double double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. May Atlee added five points and six rebounds for Exeter.

**Nashua South 32, Portsmouth 27**

The Panthers won at home to snap the Clippers' seven-game win streak.

Nicole De Jesus led South (8-1) with 12 points while Maggie Gallagher added nine points and Lexi McGuire had six markers.

**Gilford 48, Prospect Mountain 42**

The Golden Eagles picked up a big win at home, handing the Timberwolves their first loss of the season.

Addison Hodsdon led Gilford (9-2 in D3) with 12 points while Taylor Marsh and Penny Lewis added 10 points apiece.

Ava Foster had 17 points to lead Prospect Mountain (8-1) while Kourtney Kaplan ad 12 markers.

**Windham 48, Manchester Memorial 26**

The Jaguars had three players score in double figures Wednesday in a win over the Crusaders.

Rileigh Finneran and Grace Mondello each had 13 points for Windham while Madelyn Begley had 10 points.

Memorial got 14 points from Jenavyzia Collazo while Avery Jenkins had eight points and Jaelyn Hartford had three points.
