Around the Granite State: Campbell boys lacrosse cruises past Gilford (video)

LITCHFIELD - Cruz Sandquest scored four goals to help lead the Campbell High School boys lacrosse team to an 11-1 win over Gilford on Monday.

The Cougars (8-0 in Division III), who remained undefeated with the win, also got two goals and three assists from Andrew Wilinus while Hunter Brant also scored twice.

Lucas Craig had a goal and two assists and Wyatt Tarr and Alex Morre also had a goal each. Ryan Gurrette had eight saves.

Owen Guerin had the lone goal for Gilford and Aiden McKenzie made 12 saves in goal.

Merrimack 19, Nashua North 1

The Tomahawks snapped a two-game skid with a convincing win over the Titans, jumping out to an 8-0 lead in the first quarter.

Max Giles (two assists) and Landon Bedard each had three goals for Merrimack (7-3) while Jackson Forbes had two goals and two assists. Kyle Dunn (one assist) and Ryan Rezendes also scored twice.

Cayden Dine added a goal and an assist while Connor Dunn, Peyton Connelly and Beau Lamontagne chipped in with a goal apiece. Mason Tremblay made seven saves for the Tomahawks.

Nick Wilkinson had the only goal for North (4-7) with Jack Peters getting an assist. Jace Colon made nine saves.

No. 4 Pinkerton 19, Concord 4

Ryan Lynch scored seven goals to lead the Astros to the win over the Crimson Tide.

Michael Uber added three scores and Joey Gallo finished with two goals and an assist while Matt Feole had a goal and two assists. Cody Santomassimo also scored twice and Matt Morrison and Jimmy Erickson had a goal and a helper apiece.

Cole Summers and Adam Scala also scored while Cole Frank and Ben Quintiliani each added an assist. Frank also won 15 of 16 faces and Alex Tsetserano was 4 for 8. Tyler LeBlanc made three saves and Curtis Michaud had two.

Joey Tarbell led Concord with two goals while Carter Doherty and Will Chorkin had one apiece.

Alvirne 14, Keene-Monadnock 4

Joe Santana scored seven goals for the Broncos, as they rolled past the Blackbirds.

Connor Hall added three goals while Cole Bucknam, Cedric Bealieau, Garrett Hall and Joey Ribeck had a goal apiece. Ribeck also dominated on faceoffs while Ayden Kelly was strong in goal. Mike Gregoire also played well defensively.

Hopkinton 13, Milford 5

Harris Jones led the Spartans with three goals but it wasn't enough against the Hawks.

Chuck Urda added two goals and two assists. James Brew made 14 saves while Dartagnan Boudreau played well defensively.

Girls Lacrosse

No. 4 Nashua South 16, No. 7 Souhegan 6

Ella Benzekri had six goals and two assists to lead the Panthers to a win over the Sabers.

Karina O'Donnell also had four goals and an assist and Morgan Udzanovich had three goals and two assists. Maren Lowell scored twice and had an assist and Maddy Matylewski had a goal and a helper.

Keira Walsh made eight saves while Brynn Tefft, Maizie Barker, Maddie Berthiaume and Nevaeh Eppolitto played well defensively for South.

Emma Kennedy led Souhegan with three goals while Lyla Kimball scored twice and Lyla Hawkes added a goal. Natalie Heimarck and Riley Devine also played well for the Sabers.

No. 8 Pinkerton 21, Concord 2

The Astros had 10 players score goals, including three with four each, in a win over the Crimson Tide.

Hannah Lisauskas led the way with four goals and five assists while Natalie Paradzick (one assist) and Bella Pinardi also had four goals apiece. Anna Perkins and Kylie Burne added two goals apiece.

Francesca Doyle had a goal and three assists and Mia Eckerman had a goal and an assist. Lily Jeans, Ashlyn Ledoux and Piper Knowlton also had a goal apiece and Sara DiClemente made three saves.

No. 8 Pinkerton 20, Methuen (Mass.) 9

Hailey Schnider and Hannah Lisauskas each had nine points Saturday in a win over Methuen.

Schnider finished with five goals and four assists while Lisauskas had four goals and five assists. Bella Pinardi also scored five goals and had two helpers.

Anna Perkins and Piper Knowlton added two goals apiece while Francesca Doyle and Elise Saab each had a goal. Sara DiClemente made six saves.

Hollis Brookline 16, Alvirne 1

Four players had multiple goals for the Cavaliers as they rolled past the Broncos.

Paige Mello had three goals and an assist while Cailean Roy added two goals and three assists. Maddison Caetano and Isabella Martinos each scored twice and Samantha Smith a goal and three assists.

Sabrina Hill finished with a goal and an assist while Elise Broadhurst, Bella Haytayan, Alyssa Hill, Juliette Ogren and Charlotte Petrella had a goal apiece. Julia Vella added an assist and Addy Dougherty made four saves.

No. 6 Bow 19, Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough 8

Alex Larrabee (one assist) and Olivia Selleck each had six goals to lead the Falcons past the Lakers.

Ella Gray added three goals and two assists and Kate McGovern had two goals and two assists. Ella Trefethen dished out four helpers while Kendall Murray had two goals and an assist. Elena Roy finished with three saves.

Derryfield 14, Hopkinton 10

Alex Benson scored six goals to lead the Cougars to a come-from-behind win over the Hawks.

Christine Nadeau added four goals and an assist while Chloe Bremberg and Kira Geddes each had two goals and an assist apiece. Lilly Handwerk finished with a goal.

Lily Kfoury made nine saves while Sarah Naje, Alyssa Shula and Kenzie Miller played well defensively.
