Around the Granite State: Londonderry field hockey holds off Hollis Brookline (video)

HOLLIS - The Londonderry High School field hockey team scored twice in the first half Wednesday night and held off Hollis Brookline for a 2-0 win.
Gemma Murray and Annika Lewis each had a goal for the Lancers (4-2, No. 5 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll). Molly Tharrington finished with six saves, five of which came in the third quarter.
Natalie Brooks scored her first varsity goal for HB (2-3-1) and Maddie Barich recorded six saves.
No. 1 Pinkerton 1, Windham 0
Meghan Shea scored the game's only goal in the second quarter to lead the Astros past the Jaguars.
Shea scored with 2:45 left in the first half and Pinkerton (5-0-1) held off Windham in the second half. Molly Kuncik made two saves.
Sydney Rokel finished with 22 saves for the Jaguars.
Oyster River 3, Merrimack Valley 2 (OT)
Savannah Gustafson scored with 7:44 remaining in overtime to give the Bobcats a win over the Pride.
Hannah Maine had a goal on a penalty stroke and assisted on the game-winner for Oyster River (3-3-1). Aiofe Sullivan also had a goal in the win.
No. 7 Dover 1, Goffstown o (OT)
Lauren Lagasse scored midway through overtime to give the Green Wave the win over the Grizzlies.
Scarlett Gray recorded six saves to earn the shutout for Dover (5-3).
Goffstown (1-4-1) got 16 saves from Hope Moulton.
No. 2 Winnacunnet 8, Timberlane 0
Fiona McAfee scored three goals to help lead the Warriors to a road win over the Owls.
Sofia Donatelli added two goals for Winnacunnet (6-0) while McKinley Fowler, Megan Kelly and Avery Wood had a goal apiece.
No. 8 Bedford 2, No. 10 Bishop Guertin 1
The Bulldogs overcame an early deficit to get a win over the Cardinals.
Mary Lenti had a goal off an assist from Morgan Weidner and Lacey Browning scored her first varsity goal on a penalty stroke for Bedford (4-3). Brielle Champagne finished with three saves.
Sophia Harrington had the goal for Bishop Guertin (2-3-1) and Shayne Amico had an assist. Emma Smith finished with 11 saves.
No. 3 Keene 2, Concord 0
Lilly Vitters had a goal and an assist to lead the Blackbirds to a win over the Crimson Tide.
Natalia Gillis also had a goal for Keene (5-2) while Camille Hansen and Scarlett Miller had an assist apiece. Dayna English finished with three saves to get the shutout.
Milford 2, Nashua North 0
Lily Webster had a goal and an assist for the Spartans as they picked up a win over the Titans.
Emma Freeman added a goal for Milford (2-4) while Calleigh Krycki had an assist and Paige Bernier also played well.
Katie Kilmer had a strong game on defense while Norah Cardin and Willow Ovens combined on the shutout.
Nashua South 2, Manchester 1
Maddie Langer scored twice in the second half to help the Panthers come back for a win over the Kings.
Lilly Hurd recorded three saves in goal for South (2-3) while Emme Christian, Sofia Forti and Destiny Robinson played well.
No. 4 Souhegan 4, Kingswood 3
Mariellah Dart had a goal and an assist for the Sabers as they got a road win over the Knights.
Avery Wyborney, Eme Godin and Ella Russell also had a goal apiece for Souhegan (5-0-2) while Ori Dart added an assist. Liv Harrison recorded four saves.
Kingswood (3-2-1) got a goal apiece from Adelle Harrington, Cassidy Libby and Ava Waldron.
