The Bedford High School girls basketball team got off to a strong start Monday on the way to a 62-45 win over Salem.

The Bulldogs led 23-7 after one quarter and were up 30-points after three to improve to 17-0 in Division I this season.

Kate Allard led Bedford with 20 points, including two 3-pointers, and Mel McCarthy added 15 points. Sarah Muir was also in double figures with 10 points and Annie Zink had seven points, including a 3.

Salem (9-6) got 13 points, and two 3-pointers, from Lilly George, while Morgann Raskow, Lindsay Goetz and Makayla Burns each added nine points.
