Around the Granite State: Thursday's Roundup

The Bishop Guertin High School girls volleyball team won its fourth in a row Thursday, sweeping Manchester Memorial 3-0. Scores were 25-21, 25-14 and 25-13.

Mariana Gomez had 12 digs, seven kills and five aces for the Cardinals (11-2) and Alicia Glasheen added 12 assists. Eileen Valente recorded seven digs and Julia Pascucci had nine assists and five kills.

Inter-Lakes 3, Mascenic 1

The Lakers (11-0) picked up another win in Division III action, beating Mascenic in four games.

Jessalyn Brown had 33 assists, 25 service points and 22 digs and Emma Wheeler recorded a career-high 19 kills and added 13 service points and six blocks. Jordan Durand had 19 digs and eight kills while Morgan White and Hailey Hart combined for 32 digs, nine kills and 12 service points.

Brown (31 of 31), Wheeler (17 of 17) and Durand (6 of 6) were all perfect on serves.
