Around the Granite State: Saturday's Roundup
NASHUA - The Bishop Guertin High School girls lacrosse team got goals from eight different players Saturday and steamrolled Windham 19-3 in a non-division game.
Cate Bradford led the way with four goals and three assists while Katie Lupo and Emily Santom (assist) had three goals apiece for the Cardinals (4-1). Olivia Koutsos, Lauren Lupo, Kennedy Wright and Claire Donovan added two goals each and Ashlie Killen had a goal and an assist.
Kayli Keenan chipped in with two assists and Madison Cote added a helper while Grace Young made six saves.
Windham (4-1) got three goals from Emma Lindquist while Annie MacLeod had an assist and Mary Johnson made four saves.

Boys Lacrosse
Concord 17, Nashua South 6
The Crimson Tide bounced back from its first loss of the season with a commanding road win over the Panthers.
Brendan Pearl had two goals and six assists for Concord (3-1), while Noah Merfeld had four goals and Christopher Picard had three goals and two assists.
Alex Marceau added three goals and an assist and Spencer Burgess had two goals. Brad Hicks had a goal and two assists and Liam Connolly also scored. Goalie Ethan Donlon made 19 saves and also had a goal for Concord.
South (0-5) got four goals from Sean Holland while Devin Linscott had a goal and two assists and Shane Puleo had a goal and an assist. Nate Radin made nine saves.
Peabody (Mass.) 16, Merrimack 8
The Tomahawks dropped an non-division game on Saturday in a game played at Saint Anselm College.
Alec Bronchuck led Merrimack (1-3) with three goals and an assist while Jay Lanigan had two goals and an assist and Jordan Petrocelli also scored twice. John Tiano had a goal and three assists for the Tomahawks and Greg Bourque had an assist.
Garrett Murray made 10 saves in goal and Devin Johnson had five while Jason Theriault played well defensively.
Merrimack picked up its first win of the season over Manchester Central, 13-10, on Thursday. Lanigan led the way with four goals and four assists while Tiano had three goals and two helpers and Bronchuk scored twice and had an assist.
Bourque scored his first varsity goal in the win and Petrocelli added a goal and an assist. TJ Fasano also had a goal and an assist and Ben Eichman chipped in with a goal. Theriault had an assist and Murray made 20 saves behind solid defense from Adam Black and Josh Korsak.
Pelham 10, Gilford 0
The Pythons improved to 3-0 in Division III with a shutout of the Golden Eagles on Friday.
Devon Russell led the way with four goals while Jacoby Pratt had two goals and two assists for Pelham. Shawn McAdam and Devyn Tucci each added a goal and an assist while Charlie Katin had four assists and won 10 of 14 faceoffs.
Manny Baisley led the defense and had 12 groundballs while Matt Robichaux also played well defensively.

Boys Volleyball
Hollis Brookline 3, Souhegan 0
The Cavaliers improved to 3-2 on the season with a sweep of the Sabers. Game scores were 25-17, 25-17 and 25-16.
Nick Wood led HB with 13 kills and seven aces while Marshall Coutu added three kills. Hayden Kabushta had 14 assists and Kiernan Mulligan had 11 digs.
