Around the Granite State: Monday's Roundup
The Nashua High School South girls volleyball team stretched its win streak to four with a 3-0 victory over Merrimack on Monday in Division I action.
Catherine Covert led the way for the Panthers (7-2) with nine kills and one ace, while Kara Kelliher added five kills, six aces and three digs. Brianna Henderson chipped in with six kills, seven aces and five digs and Anna Campbell had 23 assists.
Exeter 3, Timberlane 0
The Blue Hawks picked up their sixth win in their last seven matches with a sweep of the Owls. Scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-13.
Sam Wilberg led Exeter (6-3) with 22 assists, 10 digs and seven aces and Morgan Sawyer added seven digs. The Blue Hawks play at Bedford on Wednesday.
ConVal 3, Pelham 0
The Cougars picked up the win by beating the Pythons by scores of 25-15, 26-24 and 25-17.
Joanna Adams had eight aces, seven assists and four digs for ConVal while Mary Grossie had seven digs and four aces. Jaylyn Desrosiers added eight digs and Molly Cole and Riley Codman had a block each.
Epping 3, Belmont 1
The Blue Devils improved to 4-3 in Division III with a win over the Red Raiders. Scores were 26-28, 25-19, 25-11 and 25-15.
Gabi Hughes had five kills, 36 digs, one block and one assist for Epping while Marissa Adams added four kills, three aces and 21 digs. Belle Snyder recorded five kills, 17 digs and an ace and Oakley Lustenberger had 29 assists, five aces, three kills and three digs.
Inter-Lakes 3, Portsmouth Christian 0
The Lakers moved to 7-0 on the season with a sweep of the Eagles. Scores were 25-11, 25-6 and 25-17.
Jessalyn Brown led Inter-Lakes with 15 service points, 15 assists and seven digs and Emma Wheeler recorded 13 service points, eight kills, five digs and three blocks. Hailey Hart added 10 service points while Morgan White had four digs and three kills and Sarah Seeley chipped in with five digs and five service points.
