Around the Granite State: Monday's Roundup

The Inter-Lakes High School girls volleyball team moved to 14-0 in Division III this season following a 3-0 win over Nute on Monday.

Emma Wheeler had eight kills, eight service points and four blocks and Jessalyn Brown added 17 assists and 10 service points to lead the Lakers. Hailey Hart added 14 service points, four aces and three kills while Sarah Seeley had eight service points and four digs and Morgan White had five service points and three kills.

Inter-Lakes returns to action Wednesday against the division's other undefeated team, Winnisquam (15-0), in Tilton.

Epping 3, Pittsfield 2

The Blue Devils rallied for a five-game win over the Panthers. Scores were 17-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-15 and 15-11.

Oakley Lustenberger had 44 assists, 13 digs, three aces and a kill for Epping (9-6) and Anna Re had 24 digs, 17 kills and an ace. Marissa Adams recorded 25 digs, eight kills and three aces while Belle Snyder had 33 digs, seven kills, three blocks and an ace.

Bishop Guertin 3, Spaulding 2

The Cardinals battled back for a road win against the Red Raiders. Scores were 16-25, 25-23, 15-25, 25-20 and 16-14.

Mariana Gomez had 20 digs for Bishop Guertin (13-3) while Julia Pascucci had 18 assists. Rita Dow recorded eight kills, four aces and two blocks and Libby Knapp had 18 digs and 11 kills.

Hollis Brookline 3, Timberlane 0

The Cavaliers swept the Owls on Dig Pink Night by scores of 25-13, 25-15 and 25-15.

Amanda Elvins recorded two kills for HB (16-0) while Kenzie Powers had seven assists and Ellie Jordan recorded five digs. Ashley Burtt had an ace and a kill and Brodie Kelley had a kill and a dig.
