Bishop Guertin and Pinkerton will be the top two seeds when the Division I pairings are released.

The Division I boys lacrosse regular season is in the books and the playoffs are scheduled to begin on Thursday.

Here's a look at how the final standings turned out, with each teams record and rating according to the NHIAA, and what the potential tournament bracket should look like. Official pairings are expected to be released by the NHIAA on Monday.

### Potential quarterfinal matchups

- No. 8 Concord at No. 1 Bishop Guertin
- No. 5 Nashua North at No. 4 Hanover
- No. 7 Londonderry at No. 2 Pinkerton
- No. 6 Exeter at No. 3 Souhegan

That makes for two intriguing quarterfinal matchups, one that could be close, and one that shouldn't.

- Exeter and Souhegan played twice this year, with each team winning on its home turf. The Blue Hawks won by one goal and the Sabers won by two. After losing four of five, Exeter finished the regular with three straight wins, while Souhegan went 7-2 in its last nine games, with the two losses coming against Pinkerton (by four) and Bishop Guertin (by 10).
- Hanover defeated Nashua North back on April 21 by a score of 14-8\. That game was at Hanover, and it looked like the rematch would be in Nashua, until the Titans dropped back-to-back games to end the regular season.
- Londonderry and Pinkerton, rivals in many sports, have already played twice this year, with the Astros winning both by a combined 24 goals. Pinkerton has averaged 16 goals per game during its eight-game winning streak.
- Bishop Guertin and Concord also played back on April 21, with the Cardinals scoring 11 goals in 12 minutes in the first half on the way to an 18-6 win.
