South, Exeter play for postseason positioning

South, Exeter play for postseason positioning

Somewhere along the line, the Nashua High School South football team was tagged as a team with a porous defense. Through the first three games, that was true. The Panthers allowed an average of 39 points while winning non-division games against Dover and Lowell and losing to Pinkerton. But since then, South has been a different team on [...]

AMHERST – The Plymouth Regional High School field hockey team had been putting pressure on the Souhegan defense for most of the first half Friday, swing all the momentum its way. So what did the Sabers do to turn things in their favor? They got a fast-break goal. From there, it was Souhegan’s game to win, and the No. 8 Sabers did, [...]

Cavs host Clippers in key D3 football matchup

The Hollis/Brookline High School football team needed a game like last week's 14-7 loss to Bedford. Well, not necessarily the loss, but the Cavaliers needed to be in a game that wasn't over before the fourth quarter. Outside of an eight-point win against Manchester Memorial to open the season, H/B had beaten its other four opponents by an [...]

Souhegan football faces tough challenge against Manchester Central

Cavs pitch shutout for first win over Sabers

HOLLIS – No matter how many points the Hollis/Brookline High School football team scored, Milt Robinson couldn’t get comfortable. Not when he was looking across the field at Mike Beliveau on the Souhegan sideline. “To be honest, up 14, up 21, I’m looking across the field and I know I’ve got a great coach over there I’m going up [...]
