Alvirne wrestling defeats Souhegan in dual meet
The Alvirne High School wrestling team recorded seven pins to defeat Souhegan 50-24 in a Division II dual meet on Wednesday. Three of those pins came in less than a minute, as Tyler Burgess won at 285-pounds, Taylor Thyne was a winner at 106 and Patrick Morse took the 160 match for the Broncos. (more...)
Souhegan boys hockey knocks off Manchester West
Stevie Upton had a hat trick in the first period as the Souhegan High School boys hockey team beat Manchester West 11-1 Wednesday night. Upton finished with three goals and three assists while Patrick Maguire had two goals for the Sabers (2-0 in Division III) and Conor Casey also scored twice. (more...)

Schedule set for first day of Nashua’s Chick-fil-A Holiday Basketball Tournament
The schedule for the opening day of the Chick-fil-A Holiday Basketball Tournament was recently released, and this year, seven of the eight participants will be from the Greater Nashua area.
