Divisions set for football in 2012

Bedford wrestling picks up win over Winnacunnet in dual meet
The Bedford High School wrestling improved to 3-0 in dual meets this season, beating Winnacunnet 54-24 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs won eight matches by recording a pin, including Eric Cooper's win in overtime at 152 pounds. (more...)
Alvirne wrestling defeats Souhegan in dual meet
The Alvirne High School wrestling team recorded seven pins to defeat Souhegan 50-24 in a Division II dual meet on Wednesday. Three of those pins came in less than a minute, as Tyler Burgess won at 285-pounds, Taylor Thyne was a winner at 106 and Patrick Morse took the 160 match for the Broncos. (more...)

For the fourth straight year, the Bishop Guertin High School football team finished on top of Division II. Bedford’s Winning earns girls soccer coaching honors
Bedford High School girls soccer coach Michelle Winning was named the Division II Coach of the Year after helping a young Bulldogs team to the division semifinals, while three Bedford players received all-state honors.
