Sabers return favor, beat Cavs

For the second time in a week, the girls high school tennis teams from Souhegan and Hollis/Brookline met on the courts on Friday. After the Cavaliers won last Monday, the Sabers got revenge, with the girls winning 5-4. The Souhegan (5-3) girls lost to H/B (5-2) on Monday, 5-4, on a tiebreaker in the final match. (more...)

Sabers knock off Generals

Matt Schagrin did it on the mound and at the plate to help the Souhegan High School baseball team beat John Stark 10-3 on Wednesday. Schagrin picked up the win, his second of the season, going five innings and allowing five hits and striking out three. He also had a RBI single, double and a walk at the plate. (more...)

Both the Souhegan High School girls and boys tennis teams lost to Bedford on Tuesday. The Souhegan girls fell to the Bulldogs 7-2 on the road, while the boys dropped a 9-0 decision to Bedford at Jasper Valley. (more...)

The Hollis/Brookline High School girls tennis team outlasted Souhegan, 5-4 , in a Class I match at Camp Tevya on Monday. With the teams tied at 4, the No. 2 doubles match went to a tiebreaker, which the Cavaliers pulled out 7-1. (more...)

Cavs hand Sabers first loss

The Hollis/Brookline High School boys tennis team pulled out a 5-4 win over previously undefeated Souhegan on Monday. The teams split the six singles matches, and the Cavaliers took two of three in the doubles to improve to 4-1 in Class I. The Sabers drop to 5-1. (more...)

Sabers pick up fifth straight win

The Souhegan High School boys tennis team moved to 5-0 on the season after an 8-1 win over St. Thomas in a Class I match Thursday. Sam Protzmann won the No. 1 match, 8-2, over Tommy Williams, and also teamed with Alex Fogelgren to beat Williams and Ross Suleski, 8-6, in the No. 1 doubles match. (more...)

Souhegan drops first match to St. Thomas

The Souhegan High School girls tennis team lost its first match of the season, falling to St. Thomas 8-1 at Jasper Valley on Thursday. The lone win for the Sabers (4-1) came in the No. 4 singles match, where Mia Ommundsen defeated Molly Megna, 9-8. (more...)

Sabers rally for first win

The Souhegan High School baseball team allowed six runs in the first inning, but rallied for a 10-7 win over Pelham in the Class I opener for both teams on Wednesday in Amherst.
