High school football season is here
Friday night marks the beginning of another high school football season. Six schools - Pinkerton, Bishop Guertin, Souhegan, Lebanon, Kearsarge and Newport - will try to repeat as champions of their respective divisions. Kelly, Jordan receive boys lacrosse player of the year honors
Bishop Guertin's Erik Kelly and Souhegan's Stephen Jordan led 33 area players on the high school boys lacrosse all-state teams. The Bedford and Nashua North high school baseball teams both reached the semifinals of the playoffs in their respective divisions this season. Carbone leads locals on all-state softball teams
