Sabers fall to Cougars

The Souhegan High School baseball team dropped its second straight game, falling to Con-Val 11-6 on Wednesday.

Robby McCormick made his first start of the season for the Sabers (12-3) and allowed sevens runs – three earned – while Bob Graham pitched one inning, allowing two earned runs, and James Astbury went the final 3 2/3 innings, giving up two unearned runs.

DJ Petropulos and Kyle Beaulieu each went 3-for-4 with a RBI and Matt Schagrin was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run for Souhegan. Tim Beliveau added a RBI triple.
