Plenty of local high school teams will be in action on Saturday as the spring playoff season continues.
In baseball, top-seeded Nashua North hosts No. 9 Spaulding in the Class L quarterfinals at 4 p.m. at Holman Stadium, while No. 11 Alvirne heads out on the road to take on No. 3 Londonderry.
No. 8 Hollis/Brookline travels to Portsmouth to face the undefeated and No. 1 seeded Clippers in the Class I quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Portsmouth’s winning streak is up to 60 games, with its last loss to the Cavaliers in the Class I quarterfinals in 2007. Also in Class I, No. 7 Bedford heads to Dover to face No. 2 St. Thomas at 4 p.m.
In Class M, No. 5 Campbell will take on No. 4 Fall Mountain in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m.
The Nashua North softball team, seeded No. 5 in Class L, goes to Londonderry to face the No. 4 Lancers in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m.
No. 3 Bedford hosts No. 11 Coe-Brown in the Class I quarterfinals at 4 p.m., while No. 4 Souhegan takes on No. 12 St. Thomas, also at 4. No. 8 Milford heads to North Conway to take on No. 1 Kennett at 1 p.m.
In the Class M quarterfinals, No. 2 Campbell hosts No. 10 Somersworth at 4 p.m. Top-seeded Wilton-Lyndeborough hosts No. 9 Gorham in the Class S quarterfinals at 4 p.m.
The third-seeded Bishop Guertin girls lacrosse team will look to reach its second straight Division II final, when it takes on No. 2 Bow at 2 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire University.
No. 2 Bedford will battle No. 3 Dover in the Division II boys lacrosse semifinals at 6 p.m. at Exeter High School, while in the Division III boys semifinals, No. 6 Hollis/Brookline takes on No. 2 Derryfield at 5 p.m. at Stellos Stadium in Nashua.
