Both the Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team and the Hollis/Brookline High School girls lacrosse team finished up their seasons with championships on Wednesday.
BG finished the year undefeated in Divison I, holding off Exeter to win the title 15-10. It’s the third title in the last six years for the Cardinals, who finished the season 15-0 in Division I and 19-2 overall.
HB also completed the season undefeated in Division III, knocking off Kearsarge for the second year in a row in the championship game, 10-4. The Cavaliers ended the season with a 15-0 record in the division (15-1 overall) and in the last two years, have gone 30-0 against Division III opponents. Next season, HB moves up to Division I.
Also on Wednesday, the seventh-seeded Bedford baseball team upset No. 3 Lebanon 6-1 in the Class I semifinals. The Bulldogs have known beaten the second and third seeds in the tournament, and will face No. 1 Portsmouth in the final at 4 p.m. Saturday at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. The Clippers defeated Con-Val in the other semifinal.
