It all comes down to this.
Both the Hudson Post 48 and Bedford Post 54 baseball teams finished with an 8-7 record for second place in District B-1 and will play a one-game playoff to determine which one will advance to the American Legion state tournament. The tourney is scheduled to begin Friday at Holman Stadium.
Hudson won both regular season games, beating Bedford 12-9 on June 25 and 4-0 on July 13. The later game was Hudson’s last of the regular season, and after Bedford beat Keene on July 15, all it had to do was beat Nashua in its final game. But Post 54 lost to Coffey Post 3 12-2 last Saturday to set up the tiebreaking game.
Hudson and Bedford will play at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at Holman Stadium.
