The Bedford High School boys tennis will go for its first Class I title and an undefeated season, after beating Oyster River in the semifinals on Thursday.
The No. 2 Bulldogs (16-0) knocked off the No. 3 Bobcats 8-1 to get to the final in just their third varsity season. Last year, Bedford was the top seed, but lost in the semifinals to eventual-champion Hanover.
Bedford will face No. 1 Pelham (14-2) in the final. The Pythons defeated No. 4 Hanover 6-3 in the other semifinal.
In Class L, the Bishop Guertin boys saw their season end in a 6-3 loss to No. 1 Exeter (16-0) in the semifinals.
