The Alvirne High School baseball team spent Saturday afternoon on the field, scrimmaging Lebanon.
The Broncos had one of their best seasons in 2009, reaching the Class L championship game, where they lost to Keene. Alvirne lost 10 players from that team, but return a trio of players who started last season, including seniors Travis Terrill and Mitch Brun.
The Broncos are scheduled to open the season on April 14 when they host Exeter.
