One sign of the return of spring is the sign posted here at Merrimack High School, informing all that the fields are not ready for use. After rainy days like Monday – and the ones that are expected for Tuesday and Wednesday – it usually takes a few sunny days for the fields to dry out. And by then, it’s time for more rain.
The spring high school schedule is supposed to start on April 5, with a handful of tennis matches on the slate.
