The Bishop Guertin High School girls lacrosse team made a bit of history on Saturday in the Division II semifinals. For the first time in their nine-year history, the Cardinals defeated Bow, 12-9 at Southern New Hampshire University. That win keeps the Falcons out of the Division II final for the first time ever. Saturday’s playoff schedule

Plenty of local high school teams will be in action on Saturday as the spring playoff season continues. In baseball, top-seeded Nashua North hosts No. 9 Spaulding in the Class L quarterfinals at 4 p.m. at Holman Stadium, while No. 11 Alvirne heads out on the road to take on No. 3 Londonderry.
