Cavs take advantage of miscues to beat Sabers
AMHERST - The Hollis/Brookline High School baseball team had a tough time stringing hits together on Friday. It didn't matter. The Cavaliers drew 10 walks and benefited from seven Souhegan errors to beat the Sabers 9-4. (more...)
H/B girls bounce back with win over Central
Hanna Mazzola scored four goals and assisted on another as the Hollis/Brookline High School girls lacrosse team defeated Manchester Central 14-6 in a Division I game. Mazzola had three of her four goals in the first half, as the Cavaliers (2-2) overcame an early 2-0 deficit and led 7-3 at halftime. (more...)
Souhegan boys take care of Laconia
The Souhegan High School boys tennis team had little trouble against Laconia on Friday, cruising to a 9-0 win in Division II action. Nick Poulack, Nate Redington and Ben Bacher each won their singles matches 8-0 as the Sabers improved to 4-2. (more...)
Doubles win pushes Souhegan girls past Laconia
Emily Hagen and Sara Noble rallied for a win at No. 2 doubles to lift the Souhegan High School girls tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Laconia on Friday at Jasper Valley. Milford drops heartbreaker to Pelham
The Milford High School baseball team rallied twice, but it was Pelham who got the walk-off win Thursday, beating the Spartans 8-7 in a Division II game. Evan Sage drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for the Pythons after Milford had rallied twice in the game. (more...)
Concord beats Alvirne in pitchers’ duel
Kelsey Martel gave up one hit and the Concord High School softball team defeated Alvirne 1-0 on Thursday in a Division I game. Martel allowed a leadoff single to Mikayla Powlowsky and nothing else, as the Broncos managed to hit just one ball out of the infield the rest of the way. (more...)
Sabers rally in second half to beat Cavaliers
HOLLIS - The Souhegan High School girls lacrosse team scored four unanswered goals in the second half to defeat Hollis/Brookline 10-8 Wednesday in a Division I game. Meggie Whitney and Mickenzie Larivee had three goals apiece for the Sabers (3-0), who scored two goals in 26 seconds to break an 8-8 tie with 11:21 left in the game. (more...) [...]
