Hudson crushes Bedford to move on to tourney

Hudson, Bedford play for tournament spot
It all comes down to this. Both the Hudson Post 48 and Bedford Post 54 baseball teams finished with an 8-7 record for second place in District B-1 and will play a one-game playoff to determine which one will advance to the American Legion state tournament. Devin Gilligan had 24 points and Brandon Len added 16 points to lead the Souhegan High School boys basketball team to a 65-40 win over Hollis/Brookline in BST Southern Division action on Monday at Rivier College. (more...)

Spartans, Sabers survive the heat
The Souhegan High School boys basketball team had no problem dealing with Windham or the sauna that was the Muldoon Center at Rivier College on Monday in BST Southern Division action. The Souhegan Pirates stayed alive in the Senior Babe Ruth Southern Division tournament, beating Walpole 11-1 in five innings on Sunday. The game was shortened due to the mercy rule. Pirates beat Keene in regular-season finale
Nick Hession hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Souhegan Pirates to a 10-9 win over Keene Thursday in Senior Babe Ruth action.
