Brady not a fan of ‘Hard Knocks;’ no word on ‘Hung’ or ‘True Blood’

Tom Brady has something in common with former Colts coach Tony Dungy, aside from Super Bowl rings.

Neither one has watched the HBO  series “Hard Knocks,” which this season features the New York Jets. While Dungy said he wasn’t a fan of the cursing from Jets coach Rex Ryan, Brady said he wasn’t watching because he isn’t a fan of the Jets.

Favre Watch: We all know the truth

On Wednesday, Brett Favre said he still was undecided about a return to the Minnesota Vikings and one more season in the NFL. Never mind that training camp starts in a couple of weeks, Favre just isn’t sure yet.

Is it Favre time of the month already?

In case you were wondering, Brad Childress is willing to wait as long as it takes to get a decision from Brett Favre on whether or not the ancient quarterback will be returning to the Minnesota Vikings next season.

GM doesn’t fall far from the QB

It looks like Colts general manager Bill Polian is taking a page out of his quarterback’s book.

In interviews with the team’s and the NFL’s Web sites, Polian blames the Colts’ loss in the Super Bowl on the offensive line and the special teams play.

In Bill he trusts: Pats coach will do it all

By now you’ve likely heard that Patriots coach Bill Belichick has no plans to hire a defensive coordinator to replace Dean Pees. Instead, the defense is going be run by … Bill Belichick.

That shouldn’t be tough for a defensive-minded coach like Belichick, right? Especially considering he has Bill O’Brien, who called the plays on offense in 2009, as an offensive coordinator now.
