Big football vote south of the boarder

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association will hold its annual meeting Friday morning and one of the items up for a vote is a change to the football playoff format.

In it’s simplest terms, the question is whether or not to change the format to match that of other sports, and in the process allow more teams to make the playoffs.

Meyer calls reporter a ‘bad guy’

Ask most head coaches what their least favorite part of the job is, and the majority would probably tell you it’s dealing with the media.

The reasons can vary, from just a general lack of interest in talking about the details to a full-blown hatred for anyone with a recorder, notepad and pen.
