In case you were wondering, Brad Childress is willing to wait as long as it takes to get a decision from Brett Favre on whether or not the ancient quarterback will be returning to the Minnesota Vikings next season.
Which is exactly what Childress said a month ago.
Oh, and did you happen to notice what media outlet happened to produce both those stories? You guessed it.
I guess we can expect another story about Favre being undecided and the Vikings willing to wait around April 22 or 23, some where around there, right?
In other Brett Favre news, the NFL decided to change its overtime rules for the playoffs.
What does that have to do with Favre? Well, some are calling it the “Favre Rule,” based on his two latest playoff interceptions that either came in overtime or caused overtime, and led to his team’s defeat. It’s kind of funny though that Minnesota was one of the teams to vote against it.
